The college has opened a Post-graduate correspondence course contact centre under Institute of Distance and Open learning (IDOL) of Gauhati University, in English, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Economics, Mathematics and Commerce.Other courses include Post-graduate Diploma in Sales and Marketing management (PGDSMM), Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resourse Management (PGDHRM) & Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM). The last date for admission is November 30. The final date of admission with late fee is 31st December. The UGC has decided to strengthen vocational programme at undergraduate level under a modified scheme of career orientation programme. The objective of this scheme is to introduce career and market–oriented, skill enhancing add-on courses that have utility for job, self–employment and empowerment of the students of the college. They can study the course/courses of their choice along with regular courses. At the end of the course the students will be equipped with a Certificate/Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in a career-oriented course along with a conventional degree in Arts/Commerce.
Nabinchandra College offers four career oriented courses. These are:-
Two year diploma course in functional Arabic (which is a career oriented course) is conducted in N.C.College. It is guided by the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language under the Ministry of HRD,Govt.of India,New Delhi.Academic session starts from February every year. A certificate course in Computer Applications in Business is in operation.
