Department of B.Voc. (Information Technology)

The Department of B.Voc. in Information Technology at Nabinchandra College, Badarpur, was introduced in the year 2017 with the objective of providing skill-oriented and employment-focused education in the field of Information Technology. Nabinchandra College holds the unique distinction of being the only college under Assam University to have introduced the B.Voc programme, reflecting its pioneering role in promoting vocational and professional education in the region.

The B.Voc. in Information Technology is offered as a Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUG), designed in accordance with contemporary academic and industry requirements. The department envisions becoming a centre of excellence for professional and skill-based education, with a strong emphasis on practical learning, industry exposure, and employability.
