Modern teaching‑learning through technology integration – as per NAAC quality benchmarks
The college has developed almost half of its classrooms to ICT-enabled classrooms to strengthen the teaching-learning process through effective integration of technology. In alignment with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), these classrooms aim to promote interactive, student-centered, and outcome-based education.
ICT-enabled classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors, computers or laptops, audio systems, and internet connectivity. Selected rooms are supported with smart boards and Wi-Fi access to facilitate seamless digital instruction. These facilities enable faculty members to use PowerPoint presentations, video lectures, e-content, and online resources to enhance classroom delivery. The integration of multimedia tools helps in better visualization of concepts and improves student engagement and comprehension.
The classrooms support blended learning practices, including online assignments, digital assessments, and access to e-resources. Faculty members are encouraged to prepare and utilize e-content, while students benefit from exposure to contemporary teaching methods. ICT facilities are also used for seminars, workshops, webinars, and virtual guest lectures, thereby expanding academic outreach.
Regular maintenance of equipment and technical support ensures smooth functioning. Usage records are maintained to monitor optimal utilization of ICT resources.
